Just scrolling through Facebook first thing, got a Michael Lavalette video. Lots of talking heads to camera, "published by Preston Independents" He's been heavily utilising the paid ads function of FB, as I've been targeted quite a lot by his posts.

A lot of the missives from RN about the French elections start with "Lavalette said", as a Mme Lavalette is one of their spokeswomen. Hopefully he's aware of this!

Is Mme Lavalette a junior relative of Pierre Laval? How true this is, who knows. But in one biography of Pétain, it is suggested that he told people that Laval could not be trusted because he had a palindromic surname.

Voted ("Please only fold once!") I think that if we folded you more than once it could prove to be fatal!

One of the lowest percentage shares for Labour, here. Everything else as expected. Bhailok doing so badly is a warning shot for any other rich land owner who thinks they can have an easy ride of it.

Who is Bhailok? And what was he running on? Multi millionaire land owner and property guru. Two streets named after the family because they need little trinkets like that from the Council. He seemed to be running on "I'm rich, I'll help the city" to which everybody else went, "What's taken so long?"

It really stands out as a bad Labour result - still down if you add in Lavallette's vote.
