Jennifer Kelly (Ind) gives the same address and is, I believe, his daughter. Kenny Mackenzie was the Lib Dem candidate in the Kintyre and the Islands by-election last September. The Conservative elected here last year now sits as an Independent Unionist.

It is, but Melton is also on the small side (less than 2900 electors for a 2-seater).

It's the first item - "A real voice for residents – ensuring residents are represented as effectively as businesses in the City’s decision-making".

Your stance is profoundly anti-democratic. The Corporation of London is hardly going to cease to exist in embarrassment that one particular political party will not nominate candidates, given it is populated by non-partisan candidates anyway. Refusing to stand as a party does precisely the opposite - it endorses the current electoral system by not challenging it. And further, the Corporation does actually run local services, so refusing to stand is to say you don't care who directs them and what they deliver for residents.
