Apart from the fact the above 2022 figures make little sense, it might be as simple as other parties (notably the LibDems) putting in some effort for what has in recent elections been a massively safe Labour ward - something they almost certainly won't have done last year.

As well as Tiger Woods there was a great Brummie wicketkeeper called Tiger Smith who played for England over 100 years ago, and who very late in life helped Mike Brearley with his batting. His real name was Ernest James Smith but nobody called him Ernest, and very few people Jim or James.

Someone is Currently on trial in Ontario for driving at and killing an entire muslim family and someone actually walked into a Mosque in Quebec and started shooting people during Friday prayers. Twenty three Canadian MPs recently signed a letter demanding Canada support a ceasefire in Gaza from Liberal, NDP and Green so this issue is very hot in Canada right now.
