That's a considerable drop for Labour from 80.1% to 67% down in 2022 to 57.3%. Why that change? Apart from the fact the above 2022 figures make little sense, it might be as simple as other parties (notably the LibDems) putting in some effort for what has in recent elections been a massively safe Labour ward - something they almost certainly won't have done last year.

Kashmir is split between two states and not that heavily populated on the Pakistani side, IIRC. I hope in my lifetime Kashmir is resolved and we see a separate Sikh state too. if we're hellbent on ethno states in this day and age, let's go the whole hog - Kurdistan, Khalistan, Palestine. Also a Taiwan that claims to be Taiwan not ROC. Who is this 'we' that you refer to here?

As well as Tiger Woods there was a great Brummie wicketkeeper called Tiger Smith who played for England over 100 years ago, and who very late in life helped Mike Brearley with his batting. His real name was Ernest James Smith but nobody called him Ernest, and very few people Jim or James.

Catholic left: We have a situation in Ontario where Sarah Jama, a Somali Canadian who was born with cerebral palsy and elected to the Hamilton Centre seat on March 16th 2023 with 54.28% has just been censured by the Conservative government and removed from the legislature and expelled from the social democratic New Democratic Party over speaking up for Gazans and calling for an end to support for the apharteid state of Israel occupation of Palestinian lands: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarah_JamaSomeone is Currently on trial in Ontario for driving at and killing an entire muslim family and someone actually walked into a Mosque in Quebec and started shooting people during Friday prayers. Twenty three Canadian MPs recently signed a letter demanding Canada support a ceasefire in Gaza from Liberal, NDP and Green so this issue is very hot in Canada right now.

If we are talking cricketers don't forget the great Australian spin bowler of the 1930s - Bill 'Tiger' O'Reilly, also known as much by his nickname as his given one.
