Somewhat belatedly, but what do we know about the Independent candidate who was the highest scoring loser in White Hart Lane in 2022? Any indication of where his/her votes might go to? Gideon Bull was the outgoing councillor, who had been elected for Labour but expelled from the party.

I'd say that's a pretty good result for Labour, positive swing from 2022. Tories second perhaps because of better selection of candidate than the Greens

Labour will certainly be happy enough with these holds, Tories might be pleased to get second (even if distantly) in both as well.
Maybe just a touch of polarisation ahead of next year's mayoral campaign?

Labour hold in White Hart Lane When I lived in Tottenham in 1984 White Hart Lane was our target ward - we appear to have gone slightly backwards since then...

I remember White Hart Lane as a ward which often elected Conservative councillors. Not as a Liberal target.

The Tottenham ward that came through for you was Coleraine via the campaigning of Alex L'Estrange and then only for one term.

You’re both right - I am remembering it wrong (it’s a LONG time ago!)

In 2002, White Hart Lane was the Conservatives’ best result in Haringey at 34.9% (they won it in the 1990s, IIRC)
