Then there are Richmond & Northallerton (previously done by ClevelandYorks) I will update (and slightly condense) my previous entry and will also write an entry for Middlesbrough South and East Cleveland.

I will try to do some more West Yorkshire seats if nobody else gets there first. However, I don't wish to discourage anyone else from getting there first, especially if they know the seats well. The rest of Yorkshire has rather better coverage, but we are still missing Doncaster North, done originally by syorkssocialist; as it has only minor boundary changes the existing profile could be used with only minor edits. Then there are two East Riding seats; I don't know if bungle is interested in doing these, but if not I could have a go. Then there are Richmond & Northallerton (previously done by ClevelandYorks), Harrogate & Knaresborough ( swanarcadian) and Wetherby & Easingwold (new seat); anyone interested in doing these? I have a profile for Wetherby and Easingwold in production so you can put me down for that. I'm happy to pick up the remaining East Riding seats and also add to the new Goole and Pocklington (which some colleagues felt wasn't fully explored).

I should have Kingswinford & South Staffs done either later tonight or first thing tomorrow morning. Obviously, I'm back at work from tomorrow, but I've remembered I did the Wyre Forest profile last time, as Wyre Forest is unchanged, this should just be able to be titivated in an evening or so. So I'll do tha next, I'll then work on Tipton & Wednesbury with a probable finish date of Sunday 7th, I can probably then do one Black Country seat a week and my order would be Smethwick, West Brom, Walsall & Bloxwich and finally Aldridge-Brownhills. If anyone wants to do any of those before then feel free, I've only reallu done prep on Tipton and a bit on Smethwick.

I shall also post this on the London sub board. It seems to me that very good progress is being made in almost all regions of the Vote UK Almanac New Boundaries project. Many, many thanks to everyone who has helped so far, putting in so much work to such an informative, entertaining and analytical effect. In all but one region I think many of the remaining constituencies have been allocated or claimed or promised; of course, they will still have to be completed! However this is not the case with London. As far as I am aware and recall, the only seat with a claimant is Chipping Barnet ( Pete Whitehead, perhaps with some subsequent comment by Peter Wilkinson). London now has clearly the highest number of profiles outstanding, currently 18. As will be seen from the list, the main boroughs still entirely or largely not tackled are Bexley, Bromley, Croydon, Greenwich, Lewisham, and Southwark. I did Croydon North in the pre-boundary change version and I suppose have some responsibility for its successor seats, though I am always wary of literally infringing the territory of johnloony! Other contributors to the pre-boundary change Vote UK Almanac (London) for these seats include greenhert, sirbenjamin, where2travel, jacoblamsden, AdminSTB (not sure which one). As we have well passed the time I offered the chance to update to original posters, I would very much appreciate any bids for any of the remaining 18 constituencies. Close personal connections are very much not needed; after all, without other volunteers I shall have to end up doing these myself, and when asked which part of Britain I feel I know least well, I have always admitted that it is in the multifarious details of the innumerable neighbourhoods of our capital city! Therefore all offers extremely welcome ...

Tipton & Wednesbury done. Will proceed next with Smethwick. Going to be a bit slower, there's been a resignation at work and I'm acting up a grade for a couple of months until someone else is appointed to the role - it won't be me, too close to retirement. I'd hope to get the two remaining Sandwell seats done by the end of the month, but if someone else wants to pick up Walsall which is my weakest area anyway, that would be fine.

I've now done all my Southwark profiles. I would be prepared to do certain other constituencies but it would be a last resort really

I have carefully left a column for notionals on my almanac profiles, and will be filling this in over the next couple of weeks. Please add comments where you think R & T have got it wrong. They're pretty good, but prey to their methods like anyone else, and there are always errors.

Thank you, John, yes, in due course I would like all the Rallings/Thrasher notionals to be entered on the constituency threads in good time before the general election.
However, for the time being I shall personally continue to prioritise adding new profiles to address the number remaining (73 as I write); I am also conscious that several of the people who have 'claimed' seats have made or are making no progress with these and I guess I shall end up taking some of these on, if that continues to be the case.

I suppose this means I'll have to go and have a pint or two in Bloxwich because it's been quite a while since I went up that way. The Walsall proper I'm a bit more familiar with. Smethwick should be up tomorrow, West Brom by the end of the month and I suppose Walsall by Valentines day.

I did all the originals for those, but have been ridiculously busy at school since September, so by all means pick them up

I have started adding notional results to the first posts for the Yorkshire constituencies I did. I've done the Barnsley and Bradford seats so far.

which are the outstanding seats in the East & the South-East Robert? (in case I can help) East: Bedford, Mid Bedfordshire, North Bedfordshire SE: Porstmouth S And we have quite a lot of South East London to go -all of Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich, Lewisham + Streatham& Croydon N And 2 other Croydons. + Chipping Barnet in N London

I reckon I can probably handle all the Beds seats. If someone else wants to volunteer I will happily enough give way. I am not qualified to do a Portsmouth constituency. I think Pete volunteered to do the great majority of the outstanding Greater London ones but I could probably do Chipping Barnet if he's too busy and if pushed one or two others

I was intending to do Portsmouth South (as I did North) Pete Whitehead is clearly doing the 3 in Bedfordshire and has said so several times. He has already done half the county. Most of the remaining ones have actually now been ‘claimed’ However in my opinion the main problem area is still London. I know Pete has offered to do all the rest, but I feel that’s somewhat unfair on him. I therefore suggest that batman (and any others keen to help on this last lap) make an offer to take a London seat or borough and Pete indicate if he minds eg has started work on it. I think Pete is well placed to do Chipping Barnet. I was going to do Croydon West soon as I did North previously

I'll do Streatham & Croydon N to start with & see how I get on. I could probably do the outstanding Croydon seats if necessary, after that Lewisham. I really don't think I ought to do Bromley, or even less so, Bexley - my visits to Bexley have been extremely infrequent during my lifetime but I have visited at least parts of Bromley in recent years for cricketing reasons! If anything I probably know Bromley better than Greenwich now, it's a very long time since I visited any part of Greenwich apart from a very scary attempt at using the cable car a few years ago which I am determined not to repeat any time soon. So in summary I can do a ) Streatham & Croydon N b ) other Croydon seats c ) Lewisham d ) Bromley apart from Orpington, but that should be it unless we are completely stuck for the others

That sounds a good plan, batman, as long as no one else is a/ very keen and b/ actually acts on that!
