North Yorkshire, Eastfield: Lab 34, Randerson 30, Con 18, LD 11, GP 5, Thomas 2. The final candidate on your list is called Thorne, not Thomas . Now where did that mistake come from?

Congratulations to kevinf for the week's win - spotting not only Randerson's popularity but also that the LD would do quite well (I think she was the only one actually living in Eastfield). But none of us were very successful, really ... an odd and difficult byelection to start the competition.

But none of us were very successful, really ... an odd and difficult byelection to start the competition. Quite-It can only get better (one very much hopes!). Still, I'm always consoled when I do badly in part because I have seriously underestimated the Lib Dems' capacity for recovery in pretty hopeless looking areas.

Apparently Randerson is of the TUSC-ilk, so he must really have a very popular reputation locally!

Apparently Randerson is of the TUSC-ilk, so he must really have a very popular reputation locally! people don't care about ideology. They'll have voted for the person. Much like in Liverpool and Portsmouth with the independents there
