93% reporting and ND is on course to win a stable majority (current projected seats: 158).

Some pollsters had them that low and that some ND-supporters would vote tactically for the small parties on the right rand was not so surprising, but surely on the low end of expectations. But then not so bad for Mitsotakis from a strategical point of view, as the opPosition on both sides is terribly split - unless a reCession or another crisis will hit Greece badly, it is hard to detect any rival for the majorityBonus next time.

I’m not surprised by the result and it is technically a good one for ND. But they now have significant opposition from the right.

Not sure about the right: They are now split into 3 small groups.

Spartans? That's so incredibly cringe. We should have a thread for cringiest party names. Obviously Macron naming a party after himself, but Spartans has to be up there.

Some of these shifts seem a bit too dramatic given the overall picture of stability, thanks for pulling them together

Surely Italy in late 90s and early 00s would have plenty to nominations. Everybody was naming lists after themselves (Lista Bonino, Patto Segno, Lista Dini) and then you got the Olive Tree, the Daisy, the Sunflower.

Intriguing why there would be an enclave of Greek Communists in Denmark.. Left over from the rule of the Colonels? Fled there and never went back. I thought so too but it turns out few of the 4,045 Greek citizens living in Denmark are over 50, the vast majority are mid 20s to early 40s, so the group is dominated by labour migrants arriving after the collapse of the Greek economy. 24-39 are the ages with more than 95 Greeks for each year peaking at 242 for 28-year olds, it drops below 33 for those over 50 and below 20 for those over 60. It seems most of the refugees from the 70s that didn't go home became Danish citizens (Denmark didn't accept dual citizenship until fairly recently). There is a Danish KKE chapter which the small tankie Communist party in Denmark has a close cooperation with, and I think the most likely explanation is that a disproportionate number of the post-crash labour migrants have come from KKE strongholds due to the Communist networks founded by the old refugees.
