Very little swing between the top 2 compared to last May. I guess you could say that compared to polling that that's a better result for Plaid than for Labour, but local by-elections are above all local... Didn't expect a standstill result tbh, thought there would be a swing one way or the other. I think it's just under a half of one percent swing PC to Lab since last May, but yeah, basically stand still

Yes - very good result for Aberdeen Labour and a poor SNP one - will be interesting to see if that's replicated in the other 2 Scottish elections coming up.

It will be interesting to look at the transfers for any sign that Alba and Scottish Green voters are detaching from the SNP, and that Conservative and Liberal Democrat voters are happier to transfer to Labour.

Very good result for Labour, good result for the conservatives to and for the Lib Dem's who see there vote holding up, Alba just real outing in a by election.... not sure if they would be happy with that or wanted a bit more....
