They don't start until 10 so I think 11:30 or so.

I suspect, given the nature of the squeeze, it was more a case of don't vote Red, get Green. I think we needed Labour minded voters to believe the "3 way marginal" mantra and so resist the Green squeeze. Not enough of them did- I have a feeling a lot of the red-green shifters were probably remembering the 2010 coalition government and Steve Williams was of course just the person to remind them of that, and to vote against it.

Obviously there will have been considerably more churn than that, but the falls in the Labour and Tory votes match up quite neatly to the rises in the Green and LD shares respectively.

The decline in the support for Williams as MP/candidate for Bristol West was maybe an indicator he wouldn't be a shoo-in here. Could this be his last election?

That’s a very good Green vote, which has lessened the margin of Labour victory from what I would have expected.

That is a strong Green performance from literally nowhere, had heard a rumour they were doing quite well there but was a bit sceptical.

I suspect quite a few of those who did so were perfectly happy with that outcome, however.
