Parliamentary Prediction Competition for the City of Chester by election.
1st December 2022
The 9 candidates as a reminder are:
Jeanie Barton - Reform UK
Paul Bowers - Green
Samantha Dixon - Labour
Cain Griffiths - UKIP
Ron Herd - Liberal Democrats
Richard Hewison - Rejoin EU
Howling Hope - The Official Monster Raving Loony Party
Chris Quartermaine - Freedom Alliance
Liz Wardlaw - Conservative
Rules
1. Predict the Exact percentage score for each of the 9 candidates, to 1 decimal place.
2. Your total predictions must add up to 100%.
3. You will be penalised the amount you are above / below 100%, so please check your predictions carefully.
4. You will be penalised 11.1 points for each candidate missing from your prediction.
5. You will be penalised 11.1 points for predicting the wrong winner.
6. Deadline for Predictions is close of Poll, 10pm on Thursday 1st December 2022.
8. The Winner is the person with the lowest score once scores, including any penalties, have been calculated after the by election.

I didn't even remember this is happening today. But what a comment on the unreality of the political times. I too was completely unaware this was actally happening NOW. It is because most practical politics have left me adrift and behind. They have no reality and no longer make any sense to me. Thus they don't matter and have no relevence to me. I literally don't care who wins or what changes there are in each party. All is but toys........signifying nothing! Rather sad. |
