There appears to be another new polling outfit…
(I can’t find the poll they’re comparing this too)

The Tory recovery starts here.

It's less omnisis and more ominous (for the Tories).

Well the poll we thought was an outlier yesterday now doesn't look like one any more.

A poll that's 38 minutes old and already out of date! :-)

A poll of this kind published today is almost certainly already out of date. The polls which are sampled today & afterwards will be the ones to watch.

Many will think they are rejoining the pre-2016 membership and we are talking 3 to 5 years minimum to rejoin.

Agreed; the terms would likely be very different - I doubt there will be opt outs for Schengen, the EMU and justice, nor the rebate. Relations between the UK and EU are also a lot worse than circa 2016, so there would no doubt be less appetite within the EU to negotiate with the UK in the first place.

Schengen would, I suspect, be a matter of not kicking the sleeping dog of geography unless the UK actually wanted to join. I don't see any pressure coming on Ireland to join apart from the most deranged partitionist Europhiles of FG or Irish Labour Twitter.

Quite like governments not knowing where I am. Obviously that only gives me "freedom" within Europe, but better then nothing. One of the minority of European centralisations that empowers the individual. Generally intra country competition and variation is good because you get to Forum shop.
