I should have waited a few days before posting my predictions. The last few days will not exactly help the Conservatives in most cases.

I should have waited a few days before posting my predictions. The last few days will not exactly help the Conservatives in most cases. Though as ever the significant number of postal votes that will already have been cast should dampen any such effect should it happen.

I was debating with myself whether to enter this week’s competition, based on the assumption that (a) Conservative candidates would be damaged by Boris Johnson being in office, or (b) they would be helped by his resignation. If he had announced his resignation a few days earlier, it might have helped a bit more.
