Louth Town Council comprises 21 members, elected from each of seven wards as follows – North Holme (3), Priory (3), St. James’ (2), St. Margaret’s (3), St. Mary’s (3), St. Michael’s (3) and Trinity (3).
Each town ward is coterminous with the district ward of the same name.
