SOUTH KESTEVEN DC; Stamford All Saints Candidates: CLEAVER, Richard James (Independent) SAWYER, Maxwell Graham (Independent) SCHONHUT, Amanda Jayne (Conservative) STORY, Tony (Independent)
Ind(2) Max Sawyer is urging support for Ind(3) Story. "Had I known in time that Tony Story was standing, I would not have submitted my name," he said.
(But personally, I would back Ind(1).)

One quibble, about Bromley Cross: "has voted Conservative on every occasion over the last half-century, normally with large majorities" - as the two GM Mayoral elections provided official ward-level figures, with Burnham winning the ward in 2021 (and possibly in 2017? I can't remember exactly which wards weren't Labour then), this really needs clarification that it's only the case for council elections.

It sent me down a rabbithole with that beautiful miners' banner, since I didn't recognize the men at the bottom. 1920 MFGB sec (and communist fellow traveller) AJ Cook is on wikipedia, but clearly none of their George Harveys was the right one. I found him, though. It's basically his own banner: grahamstevenson.me.uk/2008/09/19/george-harvey/

When some of us thought the Greens would be on 5 at Gresford, we meant percentage, not actual votes.
