Birmingham Yardley count not starting until 10.30pm. A bit frustrating as it’s being held at one of the two polling stations!

Gather the result is as follows. Lib Dem 1312 (65%), Lab 609 (30%), Con 89 (5%). Share of the vote up slightly on 2018

I didn't know Yardley used to be in Worcestershire. Just assumed it was in Warwickshire.

I didn't know Yardley used to be in Worcestershire. Just assumed it was in Warwickshire. Quite a large chunk of South Birmingham was in Worcestershire and taken into Birmingham, none of the places I've lived in Birmingham have ever been in Warwickshire.

Quite a large chunk of South Birmingham was in Worcestershire and taken into Birmingham, none of the places I've lived in Birmingham have ever been in Warwickshire. and having just been to have a look, i was quite taken aback to see Harbourne was originally in Staffs!

There are presumably plenty of people in Yardley who are currently voting Lib Dem locally and Conservative nationally.
