Residents of Wilmslow HOLD, numbers to follow. Residents of Wilmslow hold what? Baseball bats perhaps? I’ve already got a broken rib, please don’t exacerbate it with your sparkling wit and humour…oh wait, were you trying to be humorous?

Actually I've tried zooming in and the image is not a high enough resolution to see the numbers.

Impossible to get that photo to focus. I have of course always thought the key to an election result was a good Focus....

Perhaps, but compared to 2021's election we have gone from 61% to 83% and the Tories 33% to 9%.
2019 was a historical high-point for Labour and this election is far above average for the last decade.

It’s the type of ward where the ethnicity of the candidates can lead to big swings. Labour had a non Asian candidate in May, against an Asian Conservative, Jenny Lynn is an 'acquired taste' for a fair number within the ward. Assuming the successful Labour chap is the former Lib Dem candidate of ten years ago he's very moderate, much more a Lynch-ite than a Lynn-ite.
