Wrong thread (no relevance to the election), and it has already been posted in the Castro thread. Its relevance to the election is that is shows what an utter pratt she is, and she deserved h her derisory vote. No one doubted that, so hardly a valid argument,

Texas elector Art Sisneros resigns because he refuses to cast a vote for Donald Trump. talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/art-sisneros-elector-resigns-over-trump"I do not see how Donald Trump is biblically qualified to serve in the office of the Presidency. Of the hundreds of angry messages that I have received, not one has made a convincing case from scripture otherwise," he wrote on his blog "The Blessed Path." "If Trump is not qualified and my role, both morally and historically, as an elected official is to vote my conscience, then I can not and will not vote for Donald Trump for President. I believe voting for Trump would bring dishonor to God."

Elaine Chao has been nominated for Transportation Secretary. She was Secretary of Labor 2001-09 and is married to Mitch McConnell.

Silly question - Why is Mitt Romney qualified to be Secretary of State?

He is neither John Bolton nor Rudy Giuliani. I was hoping for a Mormon joke... - Why are there so many unsolved murders in Utah? - Well, there are no dental records and everyone has the same DNA.

Heidi Heitkamp has also been invited to speak to Trump about a potential cabinet position apparently.

If Heitkamp takes a job then her seat is completely gone as there's absolutely no bench. West Virginia is slightly more defensible as Democratic governor Jim Justice can appoint the replacement and Democrats can still win statewide. Best candidate would be outgoing Secretary of State Natalie Tennant. Good on Trump from a strategic point of view if he selects any Democratic Senators as it eliminates the already minute chance of them retaking the Senate.

Of course, and i did also see suggestions that Heitkamp is meeting Trump about the North Dakota Access Pipeline which is plausible.

A good point I've just read - If the Democrats lose a senator to Trump's Cabinet, then they are back where they started before the election. They gained 2 seats but lost the VP tie-breaker vote.

I would be genuinely amazed if Manchin accepted a job in the Trump administration. While he is undeniably the most conservative Democrat in the senate he has spoke time and gain about how his identity as a "West Virginia Democrat" goes to the very core of who he is.
