Leicester City Council Ratilal Govind (LAB councillor for Evington) has died. He had served as a Labour councillor for the Evington ward since 2015 and was vice chair of Leicester City Council's overview select committee. Keith Vaz is back running this for Labour |

I hope they don't have a tree growing on their shared border. tbf if one lives at No30 and the other at No31 they are probably on opposite sides of the street, so unlikely to have a "tree" issue...still would be a fascinating street to be living in I reckon.
edit: just gone back a page and read David Boothroyds post about the unusual street numbering, so as you were..

More often than not, the numbering in a Close is sequential around the close, rather than alternating across the road. In my experience, but YMMV. |

This line is actually "And divvent gang near the Seghill mine" (i.e. "do not go near the Seghill mine"). |
