The LiechtensteinInstitut(e) had erected that tool published above (www.wahlhilfe.li), where everyone was able to participate by answering dozens of questions. Over 1.500 citizens took part and the institute released first data to the NewsPapers. Such OnLine-OpinionPolls are very problematic, of course, as nerds can certainly create several identities, while those voters without InterNet or InterEst get ignored. (Additionally i fear, that the institute won't publish the RawNumbers and its weighting-methods.)
Does anyone want to know more?

Municipality maps of Liechtenstein are always quite entertaining.
The fact that with only 11 Municipalities there are no less than 19 exclaves is impressive. Triesen, Schellenberg, Ruggell and Mauren are the only municipalities without exclaves. Of those four Mauren is the only one that really has logical boundaries with even there a bit of Schellenberg erroneously included in Mauren. Needs sorting!

Malbun is rather an exclave of Triesenberg. I am a proud possessor of a Malbun walking stick plaque and certificate awarded for visiting 8 separate orienteering style locations around the exclave in 1987. The certificate was issued by the Municipality of Triesenberg but signed by their representative in the Malbun tourist office.

Nonetheless, Liechtenstein has never fully recovered from the loss of those chairs.

Our nailBiting has an end - Liechtenstein has elected 9/11 mayors (2 runOffs on April 2nd). VU has swept all municipalities of "its" UpperLand (where it has been not so strong in mayoral elec., though). FBP fell to a historical low of just 3 (so far). Mayors since 1975:

Myself i will be quite occupied with PalmSunday and lots of other elections. Elec. commission: www.gemeindewahlen.li/resultate/14Results should be known soonly after midDay.

FBP - Liechtenstein's Fine Gael, once the "austrian" (= loyal to the dynasty) party - remains at just 3 mayors, which is an unprecented low.

"Interestingly" (if anything from FL can be interesting...) they had't counted the councils in the 2 municipalities which had runOffs toDay, in order to not influence the mayor-races. Without these 2, both big parties had gained 1 councillor each as the greenish FL was the big lo(o)ser. So the FBP doesn't seem to be in big crisis. Perhaps only 2-3 bad candidates.

No real campaigns, no big issues. Main questions were traffic & high PopulationDensity. any chance of Liechtenstein joining the EU Absolutely zero. It's essentially adopts Swiss policy in areas where it doesn't have the resources to have its own. They are also ethnically Swiss Germans - as are the Austrians the other side of the border in Vorarlberg

3 referenda took place toDay: Surprise&shock, that the 2 referenda opposed by just the populists/xenophobicRight/antiVaxx (DU/DpL/MIM) were soundly rejected. Plus the 1 opposed by the midright/left establishment (VU&FBP/FL) ended only narrowly No. Participation: Electronical healthRecord-act: Building-regulations: PhotoVoltaic-requirement:

Mayors 1975-2024: The VU-inCumbent in capital Vaduz stepped down and her FBP-deputy was elected yesterDay unopposed. Thus FBP recovered from its worst result ever a bit and regained 1 mayor in the more populous UpperLand, traditionally a VU-strongHold.

Surprising, that VU opted against its coalitionPartner FBP and with DPL (populist/xenophobic) & MIM (antiVaxx). Especially, as it is the "FF of Liechtenstein", so (once) for a stronger state. Recently put an opinionPoll both at just 31%, so they might see some need to diverge and play on populism in order to limit DPL.
