Tenth, capital Vaduz: The "biggest" municipality Schaan is missing.

VU : FBP = 36.3% : 35.9%
Schaan is rather "black" (=FBP), but if the trend in the 10 other munic. holds (VU +2.2%), it should end as a tossup and FBP might not get the necessary margin for defending the first place "nation"-wide.

Liechtenstein is probably the weirdest country I've been to in Europe. Slightly sinister.

We found the same and also went to Feldkirch. Did they have the bizarre China-Liechtenstein friendship monument when you went?

The last time I was in Liechtenstein was 15th August 1987. Went to Malbun and took a chairlift up the mountain then walked over the border into Austria.
Then went down to Vaduz for the National Day fireworks display which was spectacular.
Have been through Buchs and Sargans a fair few times over the years since then but never crossed over the border again.

A candidate of DpL - who was not elected - was Norbert Obermayr, presently lecturing at MiddleSex-univ.!

And look at this!: VU ahead of FBP by 23 votes! How many votes are allowed per voter? As many as the constituency has MPs: 10 in UnderLand, 15 in UpperLand. (And voting for candidates of different parties is permitted - hence the long counting yesterday.)

By the way: Few decades ago FL went to bed (those Alemannic farmers&BusinessMen doubtlessly very early) and when they awoke, they were realizing, that after a ReCount the other party had won...

Liechtenstein is the only country that I think I have (probably) been to, but don't remember going to.
Some years ago we (as a family) had a discussion about which countries we have each visited. In making our lists, my parents were fairly insistent in saying that we had driven through Liechtenstein. The only times that we have been to Bavaria/ Austria/ Switzerland were 1975, 1981, 1983 and 1984. If we had gone through Liechtenstein at any time in the 1980s, I would have remembered it specifically; so 1975 (when I was 7) is the only time it could have been. Even then, I am dubious because even when I was 7 I think I would have been aware enough of geography to have remembered it.
If I have been to Liechtenstein, it means that I have been to 12 countries: UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Italy, Denmark, USSR.
