He'll appeal to the highest court in the land now - Judge Judy.
Anything to keep his highly successful grift going.

Supreme Court denies cert: You don't get a formal vote on such matters but Justices get the opportunity to write a dissent if they disagree with the decision not to take a case. In this case there was no dissent so while a number of Justices might have privately wanted to hear the case none of them were willing to say so publicly. This was of course no surprise whatsoever to anybody with a basic understanding of US politics.

It actually says that if you look at Trump's lead at 3am on the night of the election then the odds of Biden surpassing that with the votes left were a quadrillion to one. Therefore it was rigged. Which is maths ignorance of the highest order and also ignores the fact that it could just as well prove that the earlier batch was rigged for Trump.

The Texas AG is apparently being investigated by the FBI over some corruption and bribery allegations so there's a bit of speculation that this could be him trying to fish for a pardon: there's no real evidence of that but considering how flimsy and stupid the case is it really wouldn't surprise me. I'm pretty sure the 'statistical analysis' contained within the suit would indicate that every election ever held was fraudulent because "why did their percentages change so much? "; its an incredibly comical misuse of statistical tools and really an appropriate way for this mess to end.

The gift that keeps giving Now, I'm speaking as an atheist here, however: all of these people who were praying for a Trump victory and what not? Surely if you pray that hard for something and get the complete and opposite result, then, if there was a God, he's trying to give you a bloody unsubtle message?

"God works in mysterious ways" is the catch-all explanation for when prayers don't work though, isn't it

Well, I don't pray for election victories (I pray that the those in power remember they are servants not masters). As so many supporters of the President tend to quote their view of an Old Testament God who doesn't often do subtle, they need to remember how God responded to those who assumed God's authority. In these New Testament times, the Donald has got off lightly.

"God works in mysterious ways" is the catch-all explanation for when prayers don't work though, isn't it That, or "we weren't trying hard enough". This is the reasoning used by islamic jihadists when their efforts result in ignominious defeat, so they keep trying, and trying, even though they get no further than before ...
