Clearest is, that the ruling party was reelected. Far behind the other party. 2 other parties would have both failed to clear the thresholds (5% parties; 7% alliances). But bizarrely there exists a law, which demands the distribution of seats to at least 3 parties (what, if only 2 ran?) - what means, that the stronger one will get into parliament.

Third place is the party of former President/PM Serghz Sarkissian. His alliance didn’t meet the threshold, but due to aforementioned rule, they are the third largest so get seats.
