I see that we have now got 327 constituencies in the system, of course of varying length and quality, but in that very limited sense we have passed the half-way point. I don't know how other people feel about their entries, but as far as "mine" are concerned - and I have now offered entries in some state or other of completion for 7 Kent constituencies and 4 Sussex ones- none of those are remotely near being the finished product, nor were they intended to be.As far as those two counties are concerned,I think 2 Kent constituencies and 4 Sussex ones have been done by other folk, and I have indicated I might be prepared to take on two more,Arundel & South Downs, and East Worthing and Shoreham, which would take us to 18 in Kent & Sussex together. That would I think still leave 6 Sussex constitiencies (Bexhill & Battle, Chichester, Crawley, Horsham, Mid Sussex and Wealden) and 8 more Kent ones(Chatham & Aylesford, Dartford, Gillingham & Rainham,Gravesham, Rochester & Strood,Sevenoaks, Sittingbourne & Sheppey, Tonbridge & Malling) which I believe are unclaimed. I've just started preparing a profile for Tonbridge and Malling which I will hopefully finish in the next few days. I don't know the Malling half of the constituency at all well though, despite visiting Tonbridge loads of times - the more I think about it the less coherent Tonbridge and Malling Borough really is.

I'm done. Remarkably over the last two months I have written 45 profiles, and that covers all the seats that I have anything more than a cursory knowledge of. I'm not interested in trying to write profiles of other areas, which would just be an accumulation of statistics and google/wikipedia searches - dry and uninteresting. Major outstanding gaps (apart from the glaring absence of Scotland despite several voluminous Scottish posters) would seem to be Devon/Dorset, Leicestershire, Greater Manchester, and Durham/Cleveland. I might compile a list of missing seats to try and encourage someone who hasn't participated so far, to take them on.

Thanks so much to John for his splendid efforts, and to the other posters above for suggesting they might be able to carry on ...
... I would venture that if we only take on seats of which we are really confident, this exercise will never get close to 650 constituencies. I myself would be happy to welcome entries from posters who know what is required even if they have to do some research. They might even find it an interesting and enjoyable process. We are not asking for perfection, and as this is a cooperative procedure others can always join in once the thread is started. When I was doing my Almanacs I was far from equally expert on all seats!

I promised to do most if not all of the Cumbrian seats an embarrassingly long time ago. But I haven't forgotten this, and hope to get started in the coming week

I promised to list outstanding ones, and I will do a post separately for each region. Some of the early posts were very thin, and I have identified these as well, as the original author might like to elaborate them, or someone else do so. I'm not trying to get at greenhert , who has done some nice prrofiles, but I think he would agree that his early efforts at the beginning of April weren't great. England only for the time being. I've got a life to lead and the sun is shining.

In addition I think we have claims on Wellingborough and the Cumbrian seats, and I believe somebody is working their way through Devon?
I'm afraid I've run out of seats I know well enough to write up.

Unfortunately while I know quite a lot of unclaimed seats at a superficial level (the bulk of the North East, the remaining Berkshire seats, and Swindon and Chippenham in Wiltshire), I wouldn't say I had the deep knowledge required to do any of their profiles justice. If needed I can do a bit of extra research into them but the risk is that the profiles might not be as good.

I'm afraid I've run out of seats I know well enough to write up. I’m working my way slowly through Devon, starting in the corner I know best. I’m trying to decide whether I know all the other seats well enough. Foggy was going to do Wells, but I could do that if not. I was planning to do Worcester next.
