Well done for all that work, Yellow Peril! In a prediction competition I have run for many years for non-league football (Northern Premier League), I have two tables, one for cumulative achievement and one for average scores. This is because I think both represent valid measures of achievement. If we did that here, I think it would be clear that Pete is the best predictor over the past five years, at least. (Although I do recall Arthur Figgis making some claims for his own 'average' efforts ... ) I do recall that on the old forum, when I started predicting, Dizz and Greatkingrat were also very strong; and there may be other 'stars' even before my time.

I can go back and include the part-year 2012- but getting back into the old forum is I think beyond us all! Its all ancient history to newbies like me, but I am quite interested to see where we have all come from. Standing on the shoulders of giants and all that.

I think you should include 2012 It shall be done insofar as I am able to do so (i.e from April) I notice you comfortably won those 9 months, could that have anything to do with it?

But he's still 2 behind me, he, he, he! Perhaps that will stimulate an early return ...

This cannot of course show a score better than 30, so cannot show that Robert now has an unprecedented fifth consecutive month in top spot - remarkable consistency- everybody else has a really bad day at some point but Robert never seems to, so nobody can topple him at present it seems- unless of course we could persuade PW back and then it might be different...

At the end of the year I will try to produce an update on the scores for all of 2018, and indeed for everything since the start of this forum in its present manifestation. As far as 2018 is concerned , I note Robert with a score of 92 out of 100 already is virtually untouchable, only Andrew with 81 is theoretically able to catch him "It's a 2 horse race- only Andrew can beat Robert", and I have the bar chart ready to prove it. Mind you, that not only would require Andrew to win in Nov & Dec, but for Robert to be nowhere in those months.
