According to the council website: Ashfield, Larwood (2027). Jason Zadrozny, Ashfield Independents to Independent... His party, led by him, runs the council.

According to the council website: Ashfield, Larwood (2027). Jason Zadrozny, Ashfield Independents to Independent... He was one candidate who notably underperformed last week. Odds on him joining Reform before the weekend's out?

There is a Gatting Way & a Brearley Close by the cricket ground NE of the town centre (which has often been used for Middlesex home matches as an alternative to Lord's). They're definitely named after respectively Mike Gatting & Mike Brearley. There's also a Trumper Way near the town centre, which is part of a roundabout, but I'm not quite sure whether that's named after Australian cricketing legend Victor Trumper, and if it is, why. Someone call the Boundary Commission!

Has there been some kind of covers up? Someone may have made a slip you mean it was a leg-pull? That's a bit off.

There are roads named after Brearley, Gower & Dexter in Felling, Gateshead, at the behest of a former Deputy Leader, the late Jim Foster.

Devon, Exwick & St Thomas (2025). Rob Hannaford, Independent (elected as Labour) to Liberal Democrat. Well, this doesn't seem to have lasted very long. He's now listed as Non-aligned on the council website.

According to the council website: Ashfield, Larwood (2027). Jason Zadrozny, Ashfield Independents to Independent... Presumably an error as this has now been reverted.

Islington, Bunhill (2026). Phil Graham, Labour to Independent. An Islington South and Finsbury ward, but his Twitter feed is full of Corbyn support: www.twitter.com/Philgrahamaslef

Hampshire, Totton South & Marchwood (2025). David Harrison, Liberal Democrat to Green. The council website says so but I find that very unlikely and he is still listed as a Lib Dem on NFDC. He also has the most effective social media presence of any Lib Dem councillor I've ever come across and yet there is no indication of a party switch.
