She has a good personal vote, but baffled by her decision to defect to Labour, I think she will have plenty of time on her hands after May 2018.

Isn't she the partner of Stephen Knight, fellow ward councillor and also half of the Lib Dem group on the London Assembly?

you could have knocked me down with a feather when I read about this, and as you say this must be one of the few defections where everybody is nice about the defector. You are right about Teddington but it would be true about almost every ward in RUT these days. Labour's best ward is Heathfield (where my mum lives) and even then.... The situation in RUT was one of the main things that made me a PR supporter...

The plot deepens in Rochdale, where North Middleton councillor Chris Furlong has been reported to his whip for claiming that IDS "is killing more disabled people than Hitler".
Local party at war up in the hills, clearly.

Local party at war up in the hills, clearly. As a person with a disability, whilst not agreeing with the claim, I'd imagine if Cllr Furlong uses social media he'd have a pretty good defence, as the claim is regularly made by groups claiming to represent disabled people who campaign against any benefit changes, but particularly the Work Capability Assessment, and have been extrapolated from the official DWP figures published a couple of weeks ago.

I'm not sure that 'I got it off facebook, so it must be true' stands up that well as a defence
I'm not sure that that specific claim has been made by any reputable campaign groups either.

^^^ I'm never quite sure if you actually believe in everything you say, or whether you just enjoy showing off how you're so very good at being able to construct robust arguments that support random thoughts.
Is there a danger that you think too much about too many different things??

Is there a danger that you think too much about too many different things?? Thinking is never a bad thing. Almost ever policy mistake comes from a lack of thinking.

Well, overthinking and indecision are bad things. Not than it is an issue for government, whose inaction is not usually due to overthinking but rather due to stalling on purpose or government not bothering to even think about it.

I've been thinking about overthinking for a long time, and still can't make up my mind about indecision.
