Sic transit gloria SDA.
Currently Teignbridge council website lists Teignbridge, Ambrook (2027). Paul Parker, SDA to Independent Group. Teignbridge, Kerswell-with-Combe (2027). Jane Taylor, SDA to Independent Group.
and certainly given her change on the CC also: Teignbridge, College (2027). Jane Badford, SDA to Independent Group.
But I imagine given the article the others will follow shortly, who are: Teignbridge, Ambrook (2027). Richard Daws, SDA to Independent (No Group)
Teignbridge, Buckland & Milber (2027). Alex Hall, SDA to Independent (No Group)
Teignbridge, Buckland & Milber (2027). Mike Ryan, SDA to Independent.
Teignbridge, College (2027). Liam Mullone, SDA to Independent.
Teignbridge, Kingsteignton East (2027). Keeley Gearon, SDA to Independent (No Group)
Teignbridge, Bishopsteignton (2027). Andrew MacGregor, SDA to Independent.
Buckinghamshire, Wing (2025). Diana Blamire, Conservative to Independent.
Northumberland, Newbiggin Central & East (2025). Elizabeth Simpson, Labour to Independent.
Tower Hamlets, Lansbury. Jahed Choudhury, Aspire to Independent.
Teignbridge, Buckland & Milber (2027). Alex Hall, Independent (Unaligned) (elected as SDA) to Conservative.

There was a lot of effort invested in him and he chucked it in the bin (pissing a lot of people off along the way).

Surprised about Diana Blamire s I know her a little and she's hyper active online. Seems a very locally rooted true blue Tory. I wonder what's going on - another thread suggested there might be some selection shenanigans going on in Bucks. EDIT: she’s confirmed to me it‘s selection-related. All I can say is that the selected candidates must be very very strong if she‘s not made it. Article here about Diana leaving the Conservative group: www.bucksfreepress.co.uk/news/24723733.tory-councillor-run-independent-2025-election/Suggests there will be more selection issues over the coming weeks. It says repeatedly that she's the councillor for Winslow though- it's WING which is a very different place both in location and character. So health warning on some of the detail.

that's quite a brave defection. There can't be much if any chance of holding the ward in her new colours

I'm all for people trying to steer the Greens in general, and the Scottish Greens in particular, towards some sanity.

He's actually Kirkwall East on Orkney.
And he's an ex Lib Dem leader of Scottish Borders.
Orkney has a terrible website listing councillors so I can't tell what the parties are there.
