A strong sense of not playing nicely with the other kids? I have known Mirna since 1999, shortly before she was elected to the third seat in Arundel ward, my parents having been (re)elected to the previous two. The gist of it seems to be that Labour made a spurious complaint against her, which dragged on for months and cost the council more than £10,000 on an investigation, even though the committee meeting in question had been filmed and it was obvious nonsense. Through this time she felt she had received inadequate support from the party, and was also prevented from giving a speech to council about what happened, despite following the proper protocols (Lib Dem Cllr Richard Kemp being the presiding Lord Mayor). There is of course a lot more to it than this, but this is as much as anyone was willing to share with me, or, indeed, that I would be willing to share on a public channel. Some have inferred that this is a calculated move to oust Cllr Juarez from a safe seat so that someone friendlier to a certain faction can ultimately be selected in her place. I offer no opinion on that, save to observe that similar tactics have been attempted in the past, with varying degrees of success.

Are we reaching deselection time again? Absent a news article saying otherwise, my first assumption in this case would be website error. It seems so - he has now been restored on the website.

It seems so - he has now been restored on the website. Still haven't seen a real explanation of why these "website errors" keep occurring. I think they are pretty much exclusively from councils using the "moderngov" system for council information management. I can only assume that the backend is sufficiently poorly laid out that the unwary council worker who attempts to update some information may mistakenly modify something else entirely. I think one of the ones recently had the explanation offered that someone had tried to update committee membership and had updated party membership instead.

How many different parties has Dr Learoyd been in then? Labour then Green then Lib Dem. Along the way he has supported Trump and Brexit (yet the Lib Dems still let him in) and he is a massive NIMBY.
