Having read up on the Starmer Bangladeshi stooshie it appears he was quite specifically arguing that Bangladesh was a civilised nation with a mature legal system to which failed asylum seekers could be promptly returned.
So the only person slagging off Bangladesh is the attention-seeking defector

Yup. www.statista.com/statistics/293339/asylum-applications-in-the-united-kingdom-uk-by-nationality/ Tiresome - it’s gone behind a paywall but the figure is 3,384 in the year to March 2024. And Bangladesh is currently not on the list of countries which is classed as a safe country of origin. Applicants from those countries normally have their applications disregarded and can be returned.

Well given that Keir Starmer says so, I was taking it as a given. But if you think he is lying through his teeth, I will give you a hearing

He was elected. A clear indicator of the trajectory of his future political career, if anyone had cared to notice.

Cotswold, Tetbury with Upton (2027). Chris Twells, Independent (elected as Liberal Democrat) to Liberal Party. Not the biggest surprise given he’s their candidate in South Cotswolds on Thursday.

Every one of these Islamist clowns makes Starmer look more credible and reasonable to the mainstream electorate and I dont for one moment think he is unaware of the fact
