Crawley, Three Bridges (2024). According to their website: Atif Nawaz, Labour to Conservative. Derbyshire Dales, Darley Dale. Andrew Statham, Conservative to Independent. Costs Conservatives their majority. Out of interest, do you have some sort of notification set up for when the relevant webpage changes, or do you just have a regular routine of checking a few councils each day?

I wrote a small program to scrape the relevant pages for each council, compare with the previous version, and tell me what's changed. It takes a couple of minutes to run, although there a handful of councils that have anti-bot setups that need checking by hand. And of course a steady stream of websites changing layout, non-deterministically arranged elements etc.

Why exactly do these "party change" glitches happen? Seems to be a fairly regular occurrence.

Why exactly do these "party change" glitches happen? Seems to be a fairly regular occurrence. I don't know - it's rather odd, since there doesn't seem to be any particular rhyme or reason to it. I think they pretty much all occur on councils using the moderngov backend (although that's most of them), so I guess it's something in that system that makes it an easy mistake to make when someone is updating something. Or someone just likes causing trouble!

if he's standing against the Tories how come they haven't expelled him from the group rather than just suspend him?

Since the suspension he has answered questions on facebook saying he will be standing in May whilst not saying who for. The suggestion rather than a statement is Reform.

I really don't understand people going on and on about the vaccines. If they have a concern with the safety of the product, they should be complaining about the certificate (i.e. the pressure to take the vaccine), not the vaccine itself.

Tim Prosser (2021) and Alan Lindsay (2022) certainly seem to have been elected as Reform candidates without previously being elected for anyone else.
At the other end of the spectrum Alan Graves has gone Labour-Independent-UKIP-Brexit party-Reform Derby.
