Didn’t know about the Dumfries & Galloway by election, why did the cllr resign?

Should be a straightforward hold for the Conservatives in any case.

Well - it should be between the Conservatives and the Indy. He topped the poll in Dee ward in 2012 by some distance... Could challenge.

Hmm yes, I note that he was newly elected in 2012 as well so he is clearly a good campaigner or is well known locally.  Could go either way then.

It is slightly unfortunate, given the past allegations against Zadrodzny, that one of the first hits if you Google his candidate's name is somebody convicted of child sexual assault in Kent. (I'm assuming not the same person).
