there really is almost nothing to encourage them at the moment. Other than the comfort that it will all be over in a few days. 25 days is long enough for an election campaign.

As with Major in 1997 Sunak deliberately decided on a long campaign in the hope it would "expose" Labour and at least reduce the scale of any win. It didn't work last time, though it may at least not have done the Tories much harm. They would be pleased to get away with that right now.

Doing worse than Sunak <100 days in office is a poor sign.

That's a subsample numbering a grand total of sixty six people.

That's a subsample numbering a grand total of sixty six people. Yes but the emojis are cool. Not many people in Wales, anyway! Reform almost won a Welsh seat. Plus UKIP did well on occasion. There's a lot of anger there. Look at Port Talbot, for example. I can see a backlash happening. Plus Welsh Labour's 25 year reign. I concede better polling is needed.

That's a subsample numbering a grand total of sixty six people. Its a poxy subsample of their main poll? I thought people were finally learning not to do this.

I don't think Opinium have ever done a proper poll of Wales.

So we have three polls all taken at exactly the same time (30-31 Oct) but one of them is not like the other two.

I had thought that the BMG poll had been sampled entirely after the Budget, but I now see it wasn't. It will be interesting to see one that has been sampled entirely after it. We won't have to wait all that long I'm sure.

Since their first poll after the general election there has been very little if any meaningful change in Opinium's polls.
