It would be interesting to see the regional breakdown. Superficially there seems to be a swing from Green and others to the Conservatives. The Government bailout of the CO2 company is possibly the first of many and it will be interesting to see how the Thatcherite element of the Conservative Party react to 1970s Heath policies and approach being resurrected. Next May's local elections will be interesting as they will take place after the NI hike and if inflation is rising and pensioners find that they feel the pinch with the loss of the triple pension lock then if they vote they may vote against the Conservatives, just as they voted against Labour in 2000 when pensions went up by only 75p (ignoring the free TV licences which were introduced in the same budget)..

It is all within MOE...

So no poll from them last week, are they going to fortnightly surveys like Opinium?

So back to a weekly survey it seems, but remarkably consistent figures for a while now.

So back to a weekly survey it seems, but remarkably consistent figures for a while now. So, ignore Kantar who are a bit rubbish. Bar YouGov's Green love in, everyone else is currently around the verge of hung parliament territory. Without much of a Tory to Labour move either, yet. A competent government would spot danger and act accordingly before the opposition have a chance to get their act together.

Meanwhile a competent opposition would have already seized the opportunity to at least pull level, if not ahead. Looks like we don't have a competent government OR a competent opposition though!

A disturbance in the force, as they say.

A disturbance in the force, as they say. Did millions of voices cry out about sewage in rivers (and then fall silent)?

All the right votes in alderaan places Almost certainly less true now than two years ago. People forget just how inefficiently Labour's 2019 voters were distributed across the country
