What I found interesting after the disastrous PM spell was how she’d managed to remain in government and keep getting promoted under three different leaders, when hardly anyone else managed such a good run during all the upheaval
That must have involved at least a level of pragmatism and keeping her head down

Whip removed? What Hogwash. She hasn't said she won't support the Tories at all. What I pick up from the article is that her and Farage's ideas overlap, no surprise there, there is a Reform / Tory overlap in ideas. What else, oh yes she's has Trump sychophant tendencies, no surprise there either.
Is that the same Liz Truss that went to Faraage's 60th Birthday do? WTF does this have to do with anything? Are you really so pathetic that you only go to birthday parties of people who share your political views and vote the same way that you do?

The answer would be a 'conditional' Yes had he ever been invited to a birthday party!

Why is Bob Stewart still suspended from the whip? He succesfully appealed his conviction

Why is Bob Stewart still suspended from the whip? He succesfully appealed his conviction He wasn't suspended from it. He "voluntarily" surrendered the Conservative whip, so it's up to him to apply for its return.

It's an odd list. Some of the suspensions we know the details and are well merited. Some we know the details and are harsh. And some are just mysterious as we don't know why they have happened (and no-one is sufficiently interested to tell us).

And some are just mysterious as we don't know why they have happened (and no-one is sufficiently interested to tell us). As far as I can tell the only ones where we know nothing at all are Nick Brown and Conor McGinn, both of whom have left Labour and so effectively brought the investigations to an end. I think there's no way back, voluntarily or otherwise, for Bridgen, Brown, Edwards, Knight, MacNeil, McGinn, Roberts or Webbe, and probably not for Corbyn or Hancock either. Bridgen, Edwards, MacNeil and Webbe have all at least made noises about standing as Independents and of course there is much speculation that Corbyn will too. In several other cases it seems very unlikely that the processes will be concluded in time for them to get the whip back before the General Election.

I was under the impression that Jonathan Edwards’s suspension came to an end, but that he has declined to retake the whip.

I was under the impression that Jonathan Edwards’s suspension came to an end, but that he has declined to retake the whip. It's not entirely clear to me exactly what happened, but it seems that the Plaid disciplinary committee allowed him back, but the party establishment didn't want him and made that clear, and he then left the party and threatened to stand as an Independent. I'd be surprised if he rejoined at this point, and Plaid have selected a new candidate for the new Caerfyrddin constituency.

I think the parlimentary party refused to give him back the whip, even if he was back in the party.

Widely reported today that Kate Osamor is about to have the Labour whip restored.
It was the anniversary of Diane Abbott losing the whip this week, which led to some noises demanding she be readmitted. However I don't see any shift from her previous unwillingness to help her own case.
