I'm a bit surprised it isn't substantially to the right of the Bezirk (just a touch) although obviously still to the right of the canton.
Although I guess the Bezirk is quite homogeneous with no real areas of socialist strength even if it isn't as staunchly conservative as the inner Schwiiz part of the canton as there's no urban areas at all.

The GLP should absolutely not be in left Georg. They are sounder than Mitte Either create a centre with Mitte and GLP, or have both in right. You see it very much through a financial/economical lens, where the Grn.lib.s are someTimes indeed closer to Your FDP than even the SVP (at least their base). In order to not getting accused of lying once again i post others' positioning for 2019 (done by politoLogists of various countries, iirc):  It seems a tad bizarre to place the Greens right next to 'left-libertarianism/anarchism' when they're the closest thing to dystopian totalitarianism (outside of North Korea). |

But they are Swiss Greens. And you have to remember that Switzerland is the world's only democratically-elected libertarian totalitarian state. The latter is very funny - and very true... Concerning the former i would say, that the GPS is more to the left than most other European colleagues. Although more in theory & agitation & parliamentary votes, their cantonal ministers have to be "pragmatic". Here is a study (from already 2009, but not much has changed in my opinion; green is GPS, grey the European average):   |

Cantonal councillors:   Seats weighted by electorate 2023:   SVP is still underrepresented on the cantonal level compared to the national one, but it has gained in the recent past 1.3%, mainly at the expense of GPS (the Green Wave of 2019ff. partly receding) and FDP. |
