I will say, now we are past the deadline, I should have some idea about this as I did live in the area for a couple of years! However (1) it was a very long time ago (1961-2), and (2) Shoebury was always a funny out of the way place nobody ever had much reason to go to- on the road to nowhere.... and while some things have changed a lot since the sixties I suspect that hasn't.
We all seem to agree a pretty comfortable indy majority (Shoebury talking to itself and to hell with rest of the world?).
But we are all in that rest of the world so what the hell do we know?

Congratulations for a convincing domination of the month to Pete and Mark (who I think would have won but for a late entry).

Yes, congratulations Pete & Mark -what a shame about that late entry spoiling what would have been a really good month for Mark. I wish I had waited for Andrew Teale's insights on Shoeburyness - when I saw them I narrowed my forecast to something very close to Pete and Mark but by then I had already posted- will I ever learn>
