Watersheds and river drainage basins in Europe. It suggests an idea for an alternative history of Europe, in which the watersheds become national boundaries: a Baltic-Lithuanian-Polish Empire, a North Sea economic powerhouse, a Celtic-Basque-Breton backwater, and so on:

That would be good. Nordsee would be an economic powerhouse with German industry, the two biggest financial markets in Europe, and all the oil. And the best thing is that the Lancastrians wouldn't be in it.

My first set of Inlaws lived at Wishing Tree. I helped them move. On the estate? No. On the hill road above it. Used the pub near the estate. He was organist at the church. I have no idea why they moved there. It seemed barmy at the time.

Without completely derailing the thread, is it as nice as it sounds?

Without completely derailing the thread, is it as nice as it sounds? Wishing Tree? No, definitely not. Most of it is effectively the western part of the massive Hollington housing estate.

Have you ever been to Flowery Field? No but it sounds like that's where Wishing Tree should be! I'll give you a clue. It's not flowery, or a field.
