not sure what happened theree..anyway my point was...
How out of touch does that comment show Farage to be!! As someone who lives/works in the area broadly speaking, works for the government in a senior-ish management role and who comes nowhere near even the 40% tax bracket threshold, that statement speaks volumes!
There may be a handful of fairly rich 'quango mullahs' who he knows who hang around in his "Whitehall-bubble", but that dosent apply to 99.9% of public sector workers mush!

Interesting how the final sentence almost but doesn't quite match up to the rest of the article. Most of the quotes come from the staggeringly useless Lisa Duffy who is quite easily one of the worst people to ever be involved in UKIP. Yes the party has had some deeply unsavoury people but few have enriched themselves to such a degree while simultaneously proving utterly hopeless at their various jobs within the party.

I've been told about the tricks around the photo and its use. I don't think we would be silly enough to not get clear cut permission to use it.
Wythenshawe is more organised than Eastleigh.... It's the foot soldiers we've lacked.

Also during this campaign I've had someone try to impersonate me on Facebook and generally cause trouble, so I've called the responsible officer over that as it's clearly motivated by this election.

Wythenshawe is more organised than Eastleigh.... It's the foot soldiers we've lacked. I think when people talk about being "organised" is a political sense they are refer to the strength of the local party as opposed to how well it is ran. You can have have a well run and highly efficient branch with only a handful of active members.

The weather shouldn't be as bad tonight as it was last night, but the storm will probably still suppress turnout round the edges. That ought to benefit Labour and presumably also the Tories (depending on how organised their postal vote operation is in Sale) at the expense of UKIP. It's hard to say whether angry UKIP protest voters on the day are more or less likely to be put of by the weather than the electorate at large.
