Clive Grunshaw was elected as Lancashire's PCC in November, so that is presumably related.

Clive Grunshaw is the Police and Crime Commissioner for Lancashire. I assume he won't (or can't?) stand for CC relelection....

By-election in Burton, Pembrokeshire on 11 April following the resignation of David Wildman.
Wildman has endorsed a new candidate, who is presumably therefore effectively the candidate of the council's ruling Independent Group.
The word 'independent' of course has two meanings in Pembrokeshire.

David Lloyd , Conservative councillor for Watling ward on Dacorum DC and PCC for Herts has announced he will resign his DC seat in time for a byelection on May 2nd .
