Stein dropping the Pennsylvania recount case linkSo is this game over, or are there hopes for faithless electors? Are there Never Trump Republicans among the electors?

With Trump starting off with the Electoral College by 306 votes, there's going to have to be an extreme shortfall of faith for him to lose when they're all tallied up.

Why is Jill Stein continuing this farce. Trump has won, the recount shows no major discrepancies in Wisconsin and I imagine the same for Michigan and other states.
People chucking money at this legal circus has more money then sense or is deluded by ridiculous conspiracy theories.

All the money in the world couldn't have won that for the Dems so in that sense undermining Trump's legitimacy may prove more useful.

If anything it's the opposite, now we can be pretty sure that rhe Russians/anyone else didn't commit widespread voter fraud and Trump legitimately won.

I think the process will (as is so often the case) will be more important than the results.

I have been ignoring this process, but feel that given the attacks on the legitimacy of the electoral system, it is actually quite important to go ahead with challenges which show that there is nothing wrong with it. There is nothing more corrosive to democracy than the belief that the mechanics are being rigged, and this leads inexorably to violence and dictatorship as we have seen repeatedly in Africa.

Judge Goldsmith has lifted the order for a recount, so the process is stopped and the original result stands.

Judge Goldsmith has lifted the order for a recount, so the process is stopped and the original result stands. Trump is holding a rally in Michigan tomorrow evening. I wonder if he'll be giving Jill Stein a mention! Personally, I wouldn't waste my breath.
