Just a bit of fun guys, Gordon Brown is challenged for the Labour leadership in 2007 , by Alan Johnson, Harriet Harman , John Reid & David Blunkett

He would still have won.
Blunkett might have had a shot a few years earlier but not then, Reid was only ever backed by Blairite ultras, Harman was too close to Brown personally to stand against him.
Johnson might have been the only one of that group to cause any problems, but his essential fatal flaws - laziness and complacency - would likely have done for any chances.

How about if Robin Cook was still alive and stood against Brown? I think his anti-Iraq stance would have gone down quite well with the Labour membership.
