Were the United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland to become the United Republic of Great Britain & Northern Ireland, I do not see Northern Ireland rejoining the South, they've simply got too much of a good deal going on by remaining in the Union, for one thing. Sure, I can imagine that the Loyalists will be disappointed with the abolition of the monarchy, but they'll probably advocate remaining as part of the UK, or rather, the UR*, anyway.
As for the Irish Republic rejoining with Britain, monarchy or not, there just isn't the desire or political will for such a reunion...
* U.R., perhaps not the best initialism out there...

If we became a republic could we just become 'Britain' ?
Much easier on drop-down lists.

We'd become the Vote UR Forum. Which says it all.

We'd become the Vote UR Forum. Which says it all. But if Northern Ireland were to leave the union then we could just call it the Vote GB Forum instead.

Would this enable the Republic of Ireland to rejoin the UK Would this enable Northern Ireland to reunite with the Republic Both. Neither No the separation from the UK in 1922 was final.
Eventually I believe the North will be united with the south, by mutual agreement.

The Poll is so ill-designed and badly worded I cannot see how anyone can validly vote on it. I certainly can't.
