On another board, I made a post of maps relating to EU referendums, for your interests I'm going to post it. Some maps will be familiar, others less so
Some interesting patterns there. I think it is little appreciated how similar UK 2016 is to France 2005, although the question was very different. The two Norway refs as well.

If that's supposed to be a map of the 1975 results then I do believe it's erroneously using current preserved county borders* as opposed county borders back then, particularly in Wales for Clwyd and Gwynedd, as it's showing the western half of Conwy County, i.e. the former Aberconwy district, as part of Clwyd when back then it was actually part of Gwynedd. *Though there'll be a cold day on Venus long before I ever acknowledge any part of old Aberconwy as being part of "Clwyd".
