Clearly sharing a name with their Senedd leader did nothing for Mostyn UKIP. I think you may have misread something as the UKIP candidate's name was Humberstone, not Hamilton. |

His full name was certainly announced at the 1997 count in Tatton, so "hidden in plain sight" maybe.
