Actually, if one of you two gents wanted to read an advance copy for bloopers before I hand it to the proof-readers, I would be very grateful. Ooh yes please!

Holy mother of God, I begin to detect the railways issue on this forum that was alluded to in another thread. I thought that I was quite keen on rail travel but I've no idea what's going on here.
There used to be two locomotives (he says, nervously using technical language and hoping its not completely wrong) operating out of Gloucester called "John Peel" and "Joe Strummer" respectively, which rather tickled me.

There used to be two locomotives (he says, nervously using technical language and hoping its not completely wrong) ... The locomotive is the bit at the (usually) front that provides the motive power. You only get a train when you attach one or more extra bits to a locomotive. Ok, I'll get my hiviz...

This is a bit of a shill post I'm afraid. If it isn't allowed, please tell me and I will delete it. As some of you know I have been writing Alternative History for some years and, well, Sealion Press have just published my first e-book. Dislocated to Success, it tells the story of a United Kingdom suddenly moved from 1980 to 1730 through the eyes of Norman StJohn-Stevas, or as he becomes quite quickly Viscount Fawsley. My second book, "Britain without Beeching" is rather less political but will be published in a couple of months. I've had four pints with fellow Tyne and Wear Lib Dems so I've bought it. When I've sobered up I'll work out what I've bought

Is it only on kindle? Not doing a print copy? There are plans to do print copies for the more successful Sea Lion Press books maybe next year. Most of them probably won't be big enough sellers to make it worthwhile.

If I may blow my own horn again. My second e-book Britain without Beeching has now been released by Sealion Press. It is strictly Anoraks Only. The paperback version of Dislocated to Success should be available by Christmas. My third book "The Dublin Intelligencer" which is also the second Azure Main book will be coming out in early 2017.

Without wishing to blow my own horn too much. Both "Dislocated to Success" and "Britain without Beeching" are now available in paperback through Amazon. My new book "Towards the Glittering Sunset" is now available on Kindle on Amazon.

I've now bought a copy of this for two different friends and as it turns out they are making a joint trip to this saturday's Diesel shed open day at Crewe. Perhaps they will bump into gwynthegriff there?

How do I go about reading ebooks? This is a serious question. You'd first need to purchase a device such as an Amazon Kindle, I believe.
