Considering the electoral past of the area (lots of Independents), I suspect most of the votes last time weren't for Conservatives, but for "Scott Mann". |

Good night for LDs. Otherwise mixed and disparate. Green and UKIP show weaknesses when the story is about other two other parties.

Well, a big part of it is probably due to the absence of Labour, or anti-LD voters, given the lack of choice last time (Con, Con, Grn was the only full ballot option with no LDs). 3 seater, candidates were LDx3, Conx2, Grn. |

I expected them to hold with about 35%. Decent result for them. Conservatives a bit higher and UKIP a bit lower. |
