As also happened in Louisiana when David Duke made his election bid there. They went Lizard, as opposed to Wizard.

Gosh these (constant) cartoons are hilarious aren't they? It's almost like Steve Bell had an equally unfunny American twin.

Gosh these (constant) cartoons are hilarious aren't they? No, I think the Sam Hyde video above is hilarious, the cartoons are simply amusing and linked to to make a partisan point. This is the partisan arguments thread. A cartoon isn't an argument. This stuff would make Lowe turn in his grave.

Gosh these (constant) cartoons are hilarious aren't they? It is all the Trump campaign really have. Their own candidate is such an obviously ridiculous figure that all they can do is fling mud.

It is all the Trump campaign really have. Their own candidate is such an obviously ridiculous figure that all they can do is fling mud. Your preferred candidate was just throwing around accusations about her opponents being racists and run by a Putin conspiracy so no lectures on mud slinging please. No she was quoting his own words. From speeches and interviews. The ways people generally get to know what Candidate stands for.

People don't find it hard to accept Hillary can be a tad bellicose on occasion - its the Trump=Peace claim that they struggle with.

I see nothing there about Gary Johnson.

I see nothing there about Gary Johnson. OK I'll grant you that one. Out of the top two candidates do you have a preference about which one you would prefer to win the election in the likely event Gary Johnson does not win. Indeed I do. As much as I loathe Clinton I recognise her as a functional adult who is capable of holding high office where as Trump fails the most basic tests of being a credible candidate for the presidency. When the dreadful Hillary becomes President it will be the fault of those who nominated a walking freak show as the GOP candidate.

Are you sure that it's the right way round? Yes I'm sure. Here's another look at this cartoon so you can be reminded of Hillary's 'achievements] I'm reminded why I've blocked you (the only person on this site or its predecessor). Now I'm going to do something for the first time on either site. Make a complaint about a user. I'll withdraw my complaint.

The second link is interesting and amusing (unlike Trump). The view of pjones on said article would be interesting.

This may be an unfashionable view, but I think @pjones has done us a favour, on the whole, by forcing us to look at the Trump campaign through the eyes of his supporters, and by generally acting as Devil's Advocate against Hillary Clinton.
On this forum, and among politically aware people generally, there was a tacit assumption that Trump was just a bad joke. As a result, his long run of success came as a complete, and ghastly, surprise. Trump seems to have run into problems recently, which may (or may not) prove terminal. However, the fact remains that many of his themes, and some of his methods, have resonated with large numbers of people. The same, of course, is true of Bernie Sanders on the Left, whose insurgency offers some parallels with the Trump phenomenon.
In retrospect, neither Trump nor Sanders came out of the blue, and I don't think that it can be assumed that American politics will simply return to the "old normal" once they are out of the way.

Isn't the document from Hillary's doctor actually a proper report though?
