Keighley has a a parish pol alongside it's by-election. The three questions are
Do you want a Health & Wellbeing Hub in Keighley? Do you want a Health & Wellbeing Hub on the vacant land at the corner of North Street & Cavendish Street? Should the vacant land at the corner of North Street & Cavendish Street be recognised as a Public Open Space?

No election was called so the Winkfield vacancy went to co-option. A Labour Party member was chosen.
A Labour member in Winkfield? Wow....my aunt and uncle ran a pub there many years ago (its now no longer a pub and was sold as a house).
Winkfield parish includes a much larger area than Winkfield itself including North Ascot and parts of the built up area of Bracknell. This ward (Forest Park) covers part of the Crown Wood borough ward where Labour are competitive (and this area was part of the old Ascot ward which produced one of those superficially 'wtf' Labour wins in 1995)
Tim Jones over on UKPR used to say that Uckfield was a dump, but then he said that about most places in Sussex (not unfairly in some cases)
A bit unfair on Uckfield, I think. It's not much of a destination - it's fairly small, not much to do and the high street is a somewhat unispiring. But it's basically okay.
There are certainly worse towns in Sussex!
It was the opinion of Tim Jones, I wouldn't exactly take anything he said as a reasonable opinion about just about anything.
It's a perfectly serviceable place, not in the same league as the villages in the district and a little more deprived than Crowborough & Heathfield but nicer than Hailsham, which is mostly on par with the mid-healed areas of nearby Eastbourne.
