Plaid win by-election for Cydweli Town Council, Castle Ward (one other candidate, Labour). No numbers yet either on Plaid or Cydweli Council websites. Will update as and when. Is this the place that most of us would call Kidwelly, especially if we were trying to book a train ticket there?

What happened was that whoever wrote that page meant to type "23 December 2019", which was a Monday.

Lyme Regis Town Council will have a by election on February 13th. The last time, last summer, saw a Green gain so hopefully history will repeat itself. The same day will also see a referendum on the adoption of the Sutton Poyntz neighbourhood plan (in the Weymouth area) eligible electorate 411 and a referendum on the Upper Marshwood Vale neighbourhood plan (in the West Dorset area).

In the case of the Blyth Valley by-election, I haven't checked whether the ward boundaries are identical to the Cowpen ward on former Blyth Valley Council but it is highly probable.
In 2007 in a 3 seat Cowpen ward, the Conservatives put up one candidate who received 18.0% of the vote and came 5th (Lib Dem on fourth on 27%) (Rallings & Thrasher).
In 2003 the Tories did not fight Cowpen ward. One of only 5 of the 20 wards on the council where they failed to field a candidate.
It therefore appears to be part of the former Labour core of this seat.

Not at the moment, but a Notice of Vacancy has just been published for Weymouth Town Council Wyke Regis Ward. Weymouth is organised on political lines and was well contested last year, so I would expect a multi-party contest.

It appears that the only party political election at Town or Parish Council level today is in the Eastwood Ward of March Town Council in Fenland. It's a straight Conservative/Green contest, just as it was when last fought in May 2019, when the Conservatives won with 88 votes to the Green Candidate's 46 in a 32.27% turnout.
This may be the last party political election at Town or Parish Council level this month.
