Picking at a scab, the European Parliament passed a resolution in November to change the regulations for its own elections - seeking a voting age of 17, unifying the dates for electoral registration and candidate nomination, allowing electronic and postal voting, and formalising the process of nomination of the spitzenkandidaten for Commission President.
